How to Keep your Smart Phone Safe from Virus

Now a days people are using very intelligent Machines like PC , Mobiles but ironically they are not that intelligent as we think, only 1 Kb exe file can destroy your data, can steal your entire hard disk or Memory card without letting you know.

Internet is great source of information but at the same time it is full of filthy spammers, sometimes they are annoying.

When your phone get infected by any virus or malware it behaves abnormally , at times will it become too slow even default phone apps would not work, sometimes it lags so much that your phone touch will respond for few minutes and worst thing would happen to your mobile is that it will reboot itself in the middle of any app running. You may lose your data completely or some folders and files can be corrupted, to prevent all this there are some precautions given below.

1-  Remove Useless Apps

Sometimes we install random apps to check with annoying icons , but most of them are created by spammers and when you install it they are full of ads and none of features, you should immediately remove this kind of app as it may hurt your phone.

2- Don't Click on Annoying Pop-up Ads

Annoying apps come with a lot of annoying ads , do not ever click on ads , as it may lead you to downloading virus automatically, so its better not to click ads and immediately report to Google about app. Dont click on ads except google adsense, as we know google ads are reliable compared to other ad networks.

3- Antivirus and Spyware

Install TOP Quality antivirus and spyware app, it will help you detect any malicious activity. Perform weekly scan with antivirus on your phone as it will help remove any hidden viruses. Your PC antivirus would remove any virus and clean your infected files, make sure your PC antivirus should be updated to latest virus definations otherwise it would not be effective as it should be.

4- Safe Browsing

While browsing on your mobile's browser please be careful about pop ups and redirect urls as they may force you to download some file etc and that anonymus file can harm your device. Always browse quality websites with very less ads on it. Install quality browser on your phone like Google Chrome.

5- Scan your Phone through your PC

This is also important that sometimes mobile antivirus are not powerfull enough to search hidden viruses so every once in a month or 2 months connect your Phone to your PC and scan entire internal memory + memory card with antivirus.

6- Be Carefull while Using Bluetooth

Bluetooth is great technology to use but at the same time it makes your phone vulnerable to virus and spywares, dont pair with any untrusted device, because once paired any one can send you file without your permission and can spy on you mobile and your data.

7- Memory Card

Whenever you buy a new memory card there is a fair chance that it may contain harmful viruses so always format the new card before using it, connect it to PC through card reader and format it completely, so when you insert back memory card your phone will not be infected.

  Also format internal memory or do a factory reset every 6 months.

If your phone is still slow after doing all above things then their is a fair chance that it may be a manfacturer's fault, or your phone have less RAM then you need, so what you have to do is to buy a new Phone with at least one 1 GB Ram and 8Gb internal memory.
